In a new hand-drawn/painted/written artist book-slash-novella, Andy Moore’s central character has difficulty winning in life. Told in a diaristic stream of consciousness through line, as a first person narrative, the protagonist seems to have been chosen for the role of loser by the god(s). He responds to big and small defeats, in a variety of ways: some positive, some negative. Text bubbles out from dense expressionistic scribbling accompanied by feverish, almost hallucinogenic imagery.
